Fringe benefits – the interiors trend you need to try this autumn

Stevie Nicks, Claudia Winkleman, Ashton Kutcher…they’ve all made a fringe their style statement. And just like this autumn’s biggest fashion and accessories trend, fringing is also making a big impact in interior design!

Here are our favourite ways to style this look in your home!

Bullion fringe – a look once reserved for curtains and cushions found in stately homes – has a new lease of life this year, bringing luxury and movement to pieces from sofas and chairs to rugs and lighting. Try contrasting colours for a striking look.

Fancy making a louder statement? Fringing made from lighter, more contemporary materials brings out the rock n roll in this trend. We love bronze as a colour palette and fringing in this tone is super glam!

As well as larger design pieces, you can also incorporate the trend with fringed accessories such as throws, rugs, cushions and lamps. This allows you to incorporate a subtle touch of the trend, without having to commit to a full fringe. We love these glam lights from Curiousa & Curiousa and House of Hackney!

The clean lines of our Eden sofa contrast perfectly with the soft texture of fringing. Create the look with a fringed cushion or throw to really highlight this piece.
