A perfectly pastel Christmas

For our third festive trend, we’re focusing on Winter Blush. A complete contrast to the ‘Midnight Jewel’ trend discussed in our previous post, Amara’s Winter Blush is all about using icy, pastel tones and subtle pearl accents set against a light backdrop, creating a flirty, feminine interior!

Winter Blush utilises pastels instead of brights – think elegant and ethereal, rather than bright and bold, to capture this trend. Beads, pearls, lace and sparkles can all be used to create this look.

“Chic and elegant, Winter Blush brings together my favourite pastel shades, from dusty pink through to ice blue, pearlescent finishes and luxe metallics.” – Victoria Jackson, founder of Apartment Number 4.

Decorating her headboard with a wintery garland and beautiful, embellished Christmas stockings, Victoria has styled her bedroom with this theme in mind. We’d certainly struggle to get out of bed waking up in a setting as beautiful as this! Christmas breakfast in bed is a MUST in this room.

No Christmas décor – whether that be bedroom, living room or otherwise – is complete without a tree. Victoria opted for a snow-frosted Christmas tree, decorated with ice blue and cream decorations from Amara’s Winter Blush collection.

This completely versatile trend can be applied anywhere around the home. Take a look at the photography from Amara below to see how this style can be translated across different rooms…
