Made to measure
Our ‘Made to Measure’ service sounds a lot more formal than it actually is. Many of our styles can be tailored or tweaked to alter the size, proportions and cushion filling. Our sofa specialists will guide you through your choices and options.
Guaranteed
We hand make our sofas to last, and are very confident in their quality. So every single one is covered by a construction guarantee of up to 10 years. Please see individual models for the relevant guarantee.
Cushion filling
As Goldilocks found out comfort is a very personal thing. On many of our models you can choose from feather, fibre, foam etc to ensure your sofa is ‘just right’ (we’re no good at making porridge though!).
Access
Oh the deliveries we have done! In third floor windows, across flat roofs, even via rowing boat…we’re not kidding! We offer an access check service to ensure your chosen sofa can be delivered to the room of your choice, and also offer a selection of our models with bolt-off-arms. If we can’t get your sofa in, no-one can!
Fabric choice
We have one of the largest collections of fabrics and leathers on the high street (over 2,200), many from the top UK fabric houses. We have a kaleidoscope of plains, patterns, washables, stripes, velvets, checks…the list goes on. We are constantly adding new fabrics to our range and our instore sofa specialists are on hand to request samples and help you choose the fabric for you.
Sofa beds
A sofa, and a bed…how practical! Many of our models have a sofa bed option, some with a choice of mattresses too. Ideal for frequent visitors, the only danger is they may become too comfortable.
Corner groups
We have a soft spot for corner groups! They look so cool, but are actually super spacious too. Tempted? Give us a call and we can guide you through the sizes and options to help you find a combination to work in your space.
Protection
We want your sofa to look great for years to come, so we offer two levels of Guardsman 5 year protection to protect you against stains etc. Please contact us for full details and prices.
Handmade in Britain
We are very proud that our sofas are all handmade in Britain by skilled craftsmen (cue national anthem!). The majority of our furniture is made in workshops that have been making our furniture for nearly twenty years, the majority of them in areas with a strong upholstery heritage.
Loose or fixed covers
Many of our models have the option of fixed or loose covers. Loose covers are especially practical if you choose from our large selection of washable fabrics. So if you want your sofa neat and tidy, or relaxed and casual - we can help.
Leather
Leather sofas have an undeniable classic style about them, we think it’s because they age so beautifully. We have a great choice of soft, supple, superior leathers to choose from, available on almost every model.
