11 Interiors That Are All About the Natural Light

An abundance of natural light makes all the difference in a home – a space flooded with light is uplifting, both for the room itself and for those who inhabit it. When deciding on the design and decor of a space, one of your first considerations should be how you’re going to maximise the natural light – and there are all sorts of tricks you can employ, from using a lighter colour scheme to strategically hanging mirrors. Some spaces, though, take the worship of natural light to the next level.

The amount of natural light that’s able to enter a space depends on the size and placement of the windows. This window takes up practically the entire wall, opening up the room entirely to the light of the day.

Forget external walls altogether and opt for floor to ceiling windows instead. Think just how much more closed in this corridor would feel if it weren’t for the windows and the light they provide.
