Top Easter Events Midlands 2016

Throw yourself fully into this year’s Easter celebrations with these fantastic Easter events going on across the Midlands of England.

Chester

Jurassic Easter, Blue Planet Aquarium, 25th March – 17th April

The Easter weekend will kick off with an egg hunt, featuring reptile eggs and a special trail throughout the aquarium. There will be fossil demonstrations, animal evolution talks, and megalodon selfie competitions.

Easter Challenges, Chester City Centre, 25th March – 17th April

There are plenty of egg-citing events taking place in Chester this Easter, including Easter themed film screenings at the Grosvenor Museum, an Eggs on Pegs trail where you can win a family pass to Chester Zoo, Easter quizzes, and Easter themed competitions!

Harrogate

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, Fountains Abbey, 25th March – 10th April

This spring, bunnies have being hopping all over the estate and hiding plenty of chocolate eggs. There’ll be lots of family fun to have a go at along the way, including crafts in Swanley Grange and a brand new playground for children to scramble on.

Mad Hatter’s Easter Trail, Mother Shipton’s Cave, 25th March – 10th April

The table is laid, the teapot is ready, the eggs are hidden, and the rabbits are hopping – it’s tea party time! With treasure to find and whimsical characters to behold, Mother Shipton’s Cave is being transformed by Alice and her whimsical friends.

Manchester

Daisy Nook Easter Fun Fair, Daisy Nook Country Park, 24th March – 2nd April

Silcock’s Family Funfair are presenting a special Easter family fun day, so take the kids along and have an Easter to remember.

Charlie’s Chocolate Easter, Tatton Park, 25th – 28th March

Children can grab a golden ticket for their very own chocolate bar and could be in for a delicious surprise. Enthralling trails, spellbinding magic shows, captivating puppet theatre, and a stableyard of chocolately treats will be waiting for you.

Easter Weekend, National Football Museum, 25th – 26th March

Join doggy detective Pickles the Dog for a trophy hunt at the National Football Museum, where you’ll take part in the Easter Trophy Trail and enjoy some sweet treats just for taking part!
